TRUST AND INSPIRATION
A leadership culture exists at MTC. It is continuously developed by school administrators, through our empowered faculty, and within the minds of our amazing students. Our Pastors, Principal, and Officers are here to guide our school towards the vision laid out in our strategic plan by releasing the energy and potential within the MTC community. We are in good hands.

CHRISTINE PAGAN
Principal
As the principal of MTC School since the 2015-2016 academic year, I am honored to lead a community dedicated to excellence in education. I hold a dual degree in Business Administration and English from LaSalle University, where I also completed my Master of Arts in Secondary Education/English. I then earned my Principal's Certificate for K-12 education from Temple University.
I began my career teaching high school in Philadelphia, and over the years, I transitioned into administration, bringing firsthand classroom experience to my role as principal. During my tenure, I am particularly proud that our school was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2022 and honored as an AOP School of Distinguished Honors.
I’m an avid baseball fan, especially when it comes to the University of Pittsburgh, where my son, TJ, played, as well as 643 Baseball in Marietta, GA, and of course, the Fightin' Phils. I’m also a huge E-A-G-L-E-S fan! Additionally, I enjoy coaching a competitive swim team, where I love helping young people develop teamwork and a passion for the sport.
I am deeply committed to fostering a faith-filled environment that encourages academic achievement and personal growth for all our students and staff at MTC School.

FATHER THOMAS GARDNER
MDP PASTOR
Upon my ordination in May 2010, I spent four years gaining pastoral experience serving as parochial vicar at St. Christopher's parish in the Somerton section of Philadelphia. In 2014, I moved to my second assignment as the Director of the Catholic Newman Center at West Chester University. That began my 11-year experience of ministry on secular college campuses, which has largely influenced my perspective on Evangelization, Catholic education, and young adult ministry.
I spent nine happy years at West Chester University running the Newman Center and attempting to provide a Catholic presence on campus. I then transferred to Temple University, where I served similarly at the Newman Center there for two years.
During my time at Temple, I was privileged to also serve as pastor of the nearby St. Malachy parish on North 11th Street. My short two years in North Philadelphia at Temple and St. Malachy's was an experience that broadened my horizons and provided personal growth. In the summer of 2025, I was named pastor here at Mother of Divine Providence Parish.
I try to engage in hobbies that keep me active. I frequently ride my bike and have discovered many great paved trails here in the area. I even have become a somewhat efficient bike mechanic. I also enjoy paddleboarding, particularly at Marsh Creek State Park near Downingtown. I have played the guitar since high school and try to keep that hobby maintained.
I have found the Mother Teresa School community to be an incredible place that provides students with an atmosphere most conducive to learning and growth. I look forward to many years here.
